Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Make Heartbreaking Decision About Daughter Lilibet

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a heartbreaking choice regarding their daughter Lilibet, leaving their fans feeling deeply moved.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are the proud parents of two precious children: Archie Harrison and Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana.

The family lives in Montecito, near Santa Barbara, where they’re striving to give their children as quiet and private a life as possible.

However, details about Lilibet’s christening have recently come to light, and it’s left their supporters feeling incredibly emotional.

The timing of the christening’s announcement has certainly caught the attention of royal observers.

Lilibet, who was born in California on June 4, 2021, was baptized nearly two years later in a private ceremony at the couple’s Montecito home in March 2023.

What makes this announcement particularly noteworthy, however, is the date Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose to share the news.

The couple revealed the christening on March 8, 2023. While the date may seem ordinary to some, it holds significant meaning.

This isn’t the first time the Duke and Duchess have chosen a meaningful date for a major personal announcement.

In February 2021, they revealed Markle’s pregnancy with Lilibet on Valentine’s Day.

This, too, mirrored a historic royal moment from the past.

On February 14, 1984, Princess Diana, Prince Harry’s mother, revealed to him that she was pregnant with Harry.

In his Netflix documentary, the Duke of Sussex confessed to being surprised by the coincidence, saying: “I was shocked. We had no idea. It was just a coincidence, or maybe not a coincidence.”

Prince Harry often finds parallels between his life with Meghan Markle and the life of his late mother, Diana.

In his memoir Spare, he shared another striking connection with the early stages of his relationship with Markle.

“Eventually, we exchanged phone numbers, and mitigated the conversation over to text, going late into the night,” Prince Harry wrote, mentioning that he was ‘texting like a teenager’ the next day.

“It occurred to me how uncanny, how surreal, how bizarre, that this marathon conversation should have begun on July 1, 2016. My mother’s fifty-fifth birthday,” he continued.

These meaningful coincidences seem to deepen Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bond, tying their relationship to Diana’s enduring legacy.

Prince Harry has often drawn parallels between Meghan Markle and his late mother, Princess Diana.

However, according to a royal author, the prince was left disappointed when his family didn’t share his view.

Harry and Meghan started dating in 2016, and by 2017, Meghan appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair with the headline ‘Wild About Harry,’ a moment that sparked concern among those close to the Duke, including Prince William and Kate.

In Tom Bower’s book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, he writes (via the Mirror): “The Vanity Fair article increased the Cambridges’ suspicion of Meghan.

“By then, Harry had introduced Meghan to Diana’s sisters, Jane and Sarah, and her close friend, Julia Samuel. Harry believed they would see a resemblance between Meghan and Diana, as he felt they had faced similar challenges.

“He was disappointed. None agreed that his vulnerable mother and Meghan were alike. Worse still, they thought Meghan might not fit into the royal family.”

Bower also highlighted that Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, shared this concern at the request of Prince William.

Spencer, who had been married three times, advised Harry to take things slowly before marrying Markle, advice that led to growing tension.

Looking back, Prince Harry later acknowledged how challenging it would be to find Meghan’s place within the royal family.

Lilibet’s christening date seems to have been a carefully chosen one, carrying both deliberate and tragic significance for the royal family.

International Women’s Day, held on March 8, is already an important occasion, making it a meaningful choice for such a significant event.

However, some royal enthusiasts have noticed another poignant connection.

The date marked exactly six months since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, affectionately called Lilibet by her family.

The Queen, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 96, left a deep mark of sorrow on both the royal family and the nation.

Announcing Lilibet’s christening on this day was seen as a touching tribute to her late namesake.
